OnePlus officially launched its OnePlus 6 T McLaren Edition at an event held at McLaren’s UK headquarters. The limited edition smartphone features 10 GB of RAM and a new fast-charging technology called “Warp Charge 30.”
The latest 6T edition comes in partnership with the British automotive company with the iconic “Papaya Orange” colored shade of McLaren, which runs around the bottom edges of the smartphone.
With the new edition of its current flagship, OnePlus introduced Warp Charge 30 which is supposed to give you only 20 minutes of charge per day. In this new and even faster wired charging technology, 30 Watts of power flows through the smartphone while charging.
This new fast-charging technology makes it 38% faster than the proprietary Fast Charging technology of the company.
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition was launched at a price of $ 699 (INR 51,999) with 256 GB of storage. The price is relatively higher given the OnePlus strategy of aggressively pricing your phones against other flagship Android devices.
The McLaren co-branded smartphone accessories are also ” Papaya Orange” colored with the orange and black color scheme in USB- C cable and headphone dongle, a McLaren branded case, a piece of McLaren F1 car carbon fiber and a hardcover book that highlights the history of the British automobile manufacturer.
Compared to the standard OnePlus 6T, the McLaren Edition has 2 GB more RAM and Warp Charge 30 to fuel the smartphone more efficiently. OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition was launched in North and Western Europe and launched in India at a price of 51,999 ($725).
